Design and Looks
The Fly ST 100 Harmony is one gorgeous looking phone which sports a glossy black bezeled front and a white back. This bar phone is rounded at the top and bottom. Its display is generously sized at 2-inches diagonally. This screen produces the basic 65K colours over a resolution of 176 x 220. Below the screen we see a very interesting controls set. Here, the middle column of controls which includes the navigation pad is fat and the two columns at either side are thin. These keys are flush with the keypad and they do not offer any touch orientation.
It's not hard to guess from the name of the phone that this is a music-centric handset. To confirm this is a standard 3.5mm audio jack at the side. The phone's audio quality is good and we guess that's because the phone's audio processor is powered by Yamaha. The phone's music facilities include a music player and an FM radio. There is also a 2MP camera which takes photos of decent quality. The phone also comes with Java support so third party apps can be loaded and used on the phone. Finally, the phone can also be used as a modem.
We have to admit for a stylish phone selling at this price, the ST 100 seems like a great buy. The addition of Yamaha audio processor, great looks, memory expandability and 2MP camera makes this deal even sweeter.
